RE[MIX] - Old genres reloaded

At this year’s night of museums we will rethink everything in the Hungarian National Gallery building! The night’s programme is defined by buzzwords like REproduce, REstore, REmarkable masterpieces and others. The works will be approached from altogether different angles, such as observed from a yoga pose or accompanied by music, and visitors can also enjoy revamped events and bands. Well-known performers will bring new programmes and famous collections will be viewed through brand new glasses. Those who chose to spend the night with us can experience this and more. The evening’s theme was inspired by our Review with a Preview exhibition of Georg Baselitz, known for his unique way of seeing; the show can also be viewed this evening.

ADMISSION: from 16.00 with a Night of Museums wrist band, from the ticket offices of buildings “A” (Hunyadi courtyard) and “C” (Savoyai terrace).

For reasons of security, the opening hours might change depending on the number of visitors in the exhibition halls. Due to artwork protection requirements, the number of visitors to the events is limited and admission is in the order of arrival only. The expected time of the last admission (also for those with wrist bands) is 1.00 at night. We recommend that you check out our website (www.mng.hu) and FB page when planning your visit. The programme is subject to change!
